BACKGROUND
I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley. I hail from the Sacramento Area. When I am not in the lab, I enjoy exercising, traveling, and reading.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
I have interests in bioinformatics, biochemistry, and genetics. I enjoy coding in Python and R, as well as working in wet lab. During my time in the Whiteman Lab, I researched the evolution of detoxification and chemosensation in Scaptomyza by analyzing genetic changes across the PPK, UGT, and GST gene families.
